Heritage's recent work at the Tenmile River Site, a Terminal Archaic house site, was recently featured on the Archaeology of Connecticut, a monthly radio show co-hosted by the Office of State Archaeology (OSA) and the Friends of the Office of State Archaeology (FOSA). OSA and FOSA were joined by Senior Project Manager, Brenna Pisanelli, and Dr. Gabe Hrynick from the University of New Brunswick to discuss trends in Indigenous architecture throughout the Archaic and Woodland periods of Northeastern North America. Their conversation centered around a Terminal Archaic house Heritage discovered two years ago, and compelling architectural results and research that Brenna recently presented at the Eastern States Archeological Federation. Their conversation is on the iCRV website and is also archived on FOSA's website.
