The founding members of Heritage Consultants, LLC have nearly 40 years of combined professional experience in successfully completing projects related to the above-referenced services throughout eastern North America, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. The various projects initiated in these states were undertaken on behalf of Federal, state, municipal, and private sector clients. As a result of these efforts, we have become intimately familiar with undertaking and following through on projects from the design and SHPO/Native American/public consultation steps to construction. These include small single site projects to large, complex, multi-component developments.
Together, the principals of Heritage Consultants, LLC have completed cultural resources management projects of almost every kind, and they have developed dependable working relationships with Federal, state, and municipal regulators necessary for obtaining environmental permitting and compliance on behalf of their clients. They share a common philosophy of providing the most comprehensive project planning and environmental permitting services possible, all of which are facilitated by and integrated with Geographical Information Systems applications. As discussed in detail below, the key staff of Heritage Consultants, LLC feels strongly that the use of GIS in an “up-front” manner during the planning phase of any project is a crucial tool for providing clients with both time and cost saving, leading to a more hassle free environmental permitting process.
